Givenchy never fails to reveal some sinister side to the fashion weeks. From the pinks and blues of Stella we go straight to the black and leather-clad collection of Riccardo Tisci. His show was powerful, dark and slipping slightly into the fetish!
Based loosely on equestrian pursuits, these were horse-riders you definitely wouldn't want to come across on a lonely, misty moor! Tisci is known largely for his tailoring and he didn't disappoint! Severe riding style jackets with swing-out backs, fabrics varied form leather to wool to ponyskin. Teamed with these were jodhpur-style trousers with quilted leather in either black or olive. Bustier dresses reigned throughout with a slight vampire hint (just like Haider!) The underwear was red and black for that ultimate fetish like sex appeal. Blindfolds were worn with dark lips and dark eyes for the unmasked.
Heavy and dark with the males pierced and studded!!!!!
Glamorous yet sinister. Like a fairytale nightmare straight from Tisci's mind. Tim Burton eat your heart out!!!Xxx
